Welcome to the Teen Health 411 Website provided by three teen clinics - The Annex, Teen Age Medical Services and West Suburban Teen Clinic. We are the three clinics in Minneapolis and surrounding area specializing in health care for young people ages 11-25. We hope young people, and adults interested in young people, will use this site to gain knowledge about adolescent health, services available to them in the Twin Cities area. We recognize that young people are a special group of people and we are here to support their efforts to seek health information and services.

Information can help us make better decisions about our physical and emotional health. We hope this information will give you the knowledge you need to make decisions about your own health.

www.teenhealth411.org provides

  1. up-to-date, factual and accurate information on:
    • adolescent health,
    • normal growth and development,
    • Steps to take to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (often called "sexually transmitted diseases")
    • A place for you to get answers to health and personal questions,
  2. Information on services at Teen Age Medical Services, The Annex and West Suburban Teen Clinic.
  3. A section dedicated to explaining our clinics including financial information, news and activities and ways adults and young people can become involved in improving adolescent health.
  4. Information on some of the other places to go for information and help.

We also hope this information will be useful as discussion starters with family and friends, neighbors or that special someone. Because we don't know it all, we also have added other resources and links which might be useful for young people and those who care about young people - adults who are parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, doctors, counselors and others.
